Where it comes from
Golia was launched in 1932 in Milan by the Davide Caremoli confectionery, founded in 1913, as a soft sweet with liquorice and freshening ingredients. Perfetti took over Caremoli in 1986; Gran Golia, the large-format version, is now part of the Perfetti Van Melle range.
