Birra Moretti Zero – Alcohol-Free Beer

The taste of an aperitif beer, without the alcohol

You want to clink glasses with friends, but not with alcohol. Moretti Zero keeps what you expect from a lager: lightly toasted malt, grassy hops, a head that holds. You raise your glass like everyone else.

What you will taste

• Texture: round and sparkling, stable head.
• Aromas: lightly toasted malt and grassy hops.
• Taste: fresh, with a slight bitterness in the finish.

How to use it

• As an aperitif, with an antipasti platter and crisps.
• With a meal, with a pizza or a pasta dish.
• Well chilled, served in a glass to enjoy the head.

Where it comes from

Birra Moretti was born in 1859 in Udine, in Friuli, when Luigi Moretti founded his beer and ice factory there. The man with the moustache on the label was photographed in 1942 at the Trattoria Boschetti in Udine, in exchange for a beer. The brand has belonged to Heineken since 1996.
