Where it comes from

Ichnusa was founded in 1912 in Cagliari; the brewery moved to nearby Assemini in 1967. Its name comes from the ancient Greek name for Sardinia, Ichnoussa, "the footprint". The brand has belonged to the Heineken group since 1986.
